Description:
We are seeking a skilled pro-active, adaptable, and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is a small team and forms a division of a medium-sized publishing company.
This role will support the Head of Awards in the delivery of a global awards programme and in the organisation of other B2B events both in person and virtual in the wealth management/family office sector in the context of the overall organisational marketing and communications plan. No previous experience of the finance sector is required.
International travel shall be required for this role.
Responsibilities:
Support in delivering events in an accurate and timely manner in conjunction with other team members and supporting the awards and other event types (produced on behalf of client companies and sponsors).Provide administrative event support and liaise with in-house designers for copy, ad banners and logos and our editorial team.
Liaise across the business areas to develop relations with key internal stakeholders to feed into the external events strategy.
Make recommendations resulting from event feedback.
Retrieving and researching information when requested.
Liaise with external clients and suppliers.
Experience:
Proven experience in event coordination within any industry.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
